II FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL "BOGOTA ES MOZART"
"It was decided to start the Festival, in 2013, Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most recognizable and popular composers; and what better than his works to gather both connoisseurs as the classical genre distant people.
The second edition of the Festival in 2015 has guest Austrian pianist and composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, master of classicism and considered one of the most influential and prominent musicians in history. The Mozartian work covers all genres of his time and reaches more than 600 creations.

With the firm objective that culture reached every corner of the city, the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo in 2013 created the International Music Festival Bogotá, a biennial space around the music.
The Festival has a fundamental characteristic: it is themed, meaning that each issue focuses on a composer, a period or genre as those conducted in cities like Nantes, Tokyo and Bilbao."
